Lurk Nation

Ok, so it's been a while since I updated the Minecraft server. I feel like I've really neglected it in the last few months, but no longer.

I am currently downloading plugins to test tonight and working on a new permissions file. I also need to find a way to make donations more worthwhile.

On the lurk nation site I might post up a survey to see what people want from the server. I also need to grab a ton of pictures to keep the the posts looking half way decent. The theme needs to be customized or completely revamped. Not really sure what to do with it.

Another thing I want to work on is a mumble server. Not really sure if anyone is interested in using voice chat but I might buy a months worth and see what people think. If it isn't used enough I'll just drop it. If mumble doesn't suit our needs I'll try vent.

Another thing I really want to do is start creating minecraft videos, either live or for YouTube. Not really into let's play, but I can give it a shot.

Hmm... What else did I want to talk about... Oh! Lurk Nation Badges! I'm currently looking into a way to produce some nice badges that I can send to donators. I kind of want to make it look like a boy scout badge so I can make a few different types depending on what becomes of the server. I would like to be able to send out badges to people for best creation of the month or YouTube videos on the server. Also adventure map weekends might get a related badge if people complete it. Not sure but I'm looking into how this would work.

Umm... That might be everything for now. I'll add another post of I think of anything.
