Ruckus Epic Florida Ride
Like many Ruckus Based Epic Journeys, this one is inspired by Wan's Epic Journey across America back in 2007.

This year I'm finally going to make an epic journey. Ok maybe not epic, but pretty close. Hopefully some friends can join me for at least part of the ride. I plan on doing it when I don't have work, but I know many people won't be able to get time off to go with me.
I'm going to use the route proposed by the Florida Epicon 2011
Sadly they chose a time in the year when I couldn't get time off to spend 8 days on the ruck, but it has since been cancelled. I was hoping to ride part of the east leg with them, maybe taking a personal day or two to go. I realize this map has stops at personal home's but I wanted to make sure I had the route saved incase the thread is closed.
I going to start out with possibly heading down to the keys over spring break, as a test run. Then doing the whole Trip around florida in the summer when I have more time off. I would go in june around my birthday and hopefully before the weather fully develops into a hellscape.
If theres interest and people can get off I hope they can head to the Keys with me over spring break. Bring Tents and chill on the beach and cook food. http://www.floridastateparks.org/bahiahonda/
I can grab some raw meat and what-not from Winn-Dixie. Might bring a camp stove down with me if they don't have anything there. I could try one of the local eateries, but I think roughing it with a camp stove sounds way more fun.
